ABOUT the FISH
Nick the Fish is a soloist/singer/guitarist/songwriter who has been playing and singing for over 23 years and performing for over 14 years. Since his late teens he has played in folk, funk and rock bands as well as Irish folk and jazz duos. Nick never takes himself too seriously and is now a versatile and spontaneous performer who enjoys entertaining/interacting with audiences of a wide variety of musical tastes ('music from all eras for all ears'). He now plays as a soloist with an acoustic guitar and his playing styles range from light classical instrumental to up-beat party vibe (John Williams to James Brown!). He plays covers or his own original material and welcomes requests and/or heckling!! (he is even willing to learn specific requests in advance of a given occasion!). Nick will play at any venue on land or sea, for any occasion - from pub gigs to Caribbean cruises, (private parties, weddings, bar mitzvahs and funerals etc!) and comes equipped with his own quality P.A system. Having run a number of 'open mic/stage' nights in the past (and one currently), Nick has developed an intuitive feel for a quality sound which is attuned for each individual audience.
